Holiday hours:

Christmas – closed: Dec. 24th and 25th.

New Years – closed: January 1st.

In Minnesota, we are still under a shelter in place order, #StayHomeMN. This order includes critical manufacturing as an exception in which power generation falls into this category. WINCO has continued operating our manufacturing and shipping operations during this period.

We are taking this executive order very seriously and have done what we can to maintain the safety of our employees. 

• Account managers and support staff have been working off-site. They are still reachable at the same phone numbers and email addresses. 
• Our factory is still up and running. We are making sure we keep to the social distance standards and maintain our safety protocols.

In Minnesota, Governor Walz has issued a new executive order, #StayHomeMN, which is similar to many shelter in place orders across the Nation. Governor Walz’s order includes critical manufacturing as an exception. Power generation falls into this category. As a result, Winco will continue operating our manufacturing and shipping operations during this period. Our account managers and service technicians will be available as they are now. Many have been working from home already and by Monday, that will be the case for almost all of our office staff. The following considerations are important as we place the next 6-8 weeks during this time.

• Winco has a significant inventory of finished goods on hand, including many liquid-cooled models. Check our inventory status online for the latest information. Remember, the dealer portal information updates hourly.
• We have our on-site parts warehouse and we have been working with our partners to maintain availability of service parts.
• Normally, the schedule is frozen for 6 weeks. Orders related to the medical industry will be given priority and may cause a need to shift our schedules on short notice. We will attempt to do so in the least disruptive way possible. Please communicate any medical industry needs to your account manager and they will help us prioritize and expedite these orders to the best of our ability.
• We have identified some disruptions in our supply chain. As of now they are sporadic and fairly minor. We are working hard with our supply chain to prevent and eliminate more disruptions.
• Account managers will contact you before shipping to ensure you will be open to receive the shipment. In cases where a shelter in place order changes mid shipment, we will split the outbound and return freight charges with you.

Winco remains a strong and financially stable manufacturer. Our team will continue working to support you during this difficult time. We wish you the best and hope that you all remain safe during this time.

It is hard to believe that a little generator company started shortly before the great depression in 1927 has been around to witness some pretty monumental changes in the world we live in. Not very many companies are able to survive this long. Our success over the years is because of the good people who work here.

Whether you are new to the WINCO Generator family or have been with us for a long time, we appreciate our partnership. We couldn’t do it without your contributions. We appreciate your business, feedback and support. You have a lot of options in the marketplace and we are glad that you chose to work with us.

Pricing is in full affect starting February 1st, 2020. Despite significant pressure on our costs from tariffs, regulation and other inputs we have held our pricing mostly steady. Some air-cooled models have seen minor price increases while our entire line of liquid-cooled products is holding steady after our big price decrease last year.

Our UL142 fuel tanks went up in price quite a bit. We held off on price increases on those for a few years too many and had to make a sizable adjustment.

We reduced prices on the DP5000 and the DP7500 this year along with many of the smaller service entrance rated ASCO transfer switches.

WINCO has a big year planned for 2020. Expect to have some exciting and competitive new products to become available. We’ll be in touch and look forward to another good year working with you.
