Is this model generator limited to just a 1000RPM PTO? In other words, can it be modified to run on a 540RPM PTO?

Thank you for your inquiry. The model 55FPTOC-3/C cannot be converted to 540 RPM input speed. Our records indicate that when this unit was designed there was no provision for converting that model to 540 RPM. I wish I had better news for you.
