MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor to complete project and work orders efficiently
  • Perform minor painting, carpentry and masonry work (i.e. preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes. Hanging doors, fitting locks and handles, etc.)
  • Perform minor plumbing maintenance (i.e. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, adding new lines, etc.)
  • Perform minor electrical maintenance including, but not limited to, replacement or repair of fixtures (i.e. wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.) using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools
  • Under the supervision of Supervisor
    • Perform basic mechanic skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and troubleshooting of production machines
    • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
    • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and on production equipment
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service
  • Respond to emergency situations during and after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate concerns
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
  • Able to work flexible hours for machine down type situations

Qualifications:

  • Self-starter dedicated to continual quality improvement
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Adhere to safety practices and QA guidelines
  • Ability to plan and manage projects under direction of Maintenance Supervisor
  • Ability to upgrade skill sets to meet changing environments
  • Able to sit or stand and walk throughout the scheduled work shift
  • Able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 years maintenance experience required. Maintenance in a factory setting a plus

SUB-ASSEMBLER

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Complete assembly or sub-assembly of small, moderately complicated units and components
  • Operate assembly-related machine & equipment
  • Responsible for tear down, rebuild, fitting, adjusting, and aligning to close tolerances and strict inspection standards
  • Works from drawings or specifications
  • Train or assist other operators
  • Performs other duties as assigned
