  2. Question

    James Froelich

My PSS12H Generator is three years old, but only has about eight hours on it. Earlier this year when I atarted it, it would run for about 10 seconds and then cut off but when restarted it, it ran well. Last week, I started it eight times and each time it ran for 10 seconds, then shut off. I could not keep it on. It would go through the same restart each time which tells me it has fuel. I checked the oil on the engine and it is fine. Other ideas?
    Please advise.

    Thank you,
    Jim Froelich

  3. Question

    Ace Bowls

I have a Pss12H and in the spec sheet given above its listed as having a GX670VXC2 honda engine. But The parts place tells me that its a GX690VXC2. How can I confirm which one it is as there is another spec sheet for the PSS12H from winco that shows up listing it as GX690. I have GDACH on the machine but that isn’t helping.

Ace, please call Winco with the Winco serial number and we can verify your model. Model PSS12H/A was built with a Honda GX670. Later versions of the PSS12H models used the Honda GX690. The GX690 we used had the engine serial number starting with GDACH. Therefore, I don’t believe you have a model PSS12H/A. Again, you can call to confirm with a serial number.

  4. Question

    James Froelich

My PSSH12 is now 5 years old and has started shorting out fuses. I nee a service call but we are somewhat secluded at area code 75418. We re in Bonham, Texas. So, despite the motor starting sometimes then cutting off after 8 seconds (a problem I contacted you about 2 years ago), it is now shorting out fuses as well.

I don’t expect for you to fix this problem at this time but do you have any servicemen close to my area? I am have a hard time finding a person to service my generator on site.

    Thank you,

    James Froelich.
