This model looks exactly like the one I have, Model: 3KS4PC-3/B. I hope the instructions will work with mine. Mine is only 3,000 WATTS and 1800 RPM. I should probably not try to fix mine and just upgrade.
Please help identify my generator. The best I can tell I have a 3KS4PC-3/B generator with a Briggs and Stratton cast iron engine. I can not read the model number on either the generator or the engine. I can read part of the tag it looks like it 16.7 AMPS. and 1800 RPM serial number 83464 083. What other info is on the tag? What horse power would the engine be? Do you know what the model number the engine would be?
Bill, please email pictures of the generator set to include all data tags to [email protected]. We will help to identify what you have. My best guess for now is you have an 8KS model. Which was a belt-drive and Winco did not provide the engine for that model.

Cliff,
Yes, you can use the same operators manual as the 4KS.

Dennis,
Winco no longer makes the 4KS2GC-3/A model. You can look at our products under the two-bearing generators.
