DESIGN ENGINEER

Salary Range: $55,000 – $65,000/yr

Winco Engineering is a collaborative environment that builds on each team member’s unique strengths and provides opportunities to learn and grow. As part of the Design Engineering Team, you will be responsible for the design of new generator set projects and modification of previous designs. The Design Engineer will work closely with the WINCO team including sales, operations, purchasing and production.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Organization skills
• 3D Cad modeling & 2D detail drawing (SolidWorks preferred)
• Proficiency in sheet metal design & large assembly management
• Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing and Design for Assembly Principles
• Have SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD background
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience preferred

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Finite Element Analysis
• ERP system (Epicor)
• SolidWorks PDM
• Knowledge of combustion engines and basic electricity
• Ability to work with hands, hand tools and/or machine tools

HOURS OF WORK:
Monday through Friday


Material Handler

Salary Range: $16-21/hr

Under the supervision of the Department Supervisor, the Material Handler will:
• Load and unload trucks
• Place materials in bins or storage areas for various requesting departments
• Pick parts for production jobs prior to their need
• Be responsible for the counting, sorting, and identifying of parts and materials
• Be versatile & cross train in shipping/receiving along with drive a forklift

REQUIREMENTS
• Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs
• Organizational skills, ability to work independently, and prioritize tasks
• Drive forklift or able to be trained
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Computer knowledge is preferred
• One or two years of forklift experience preferred
• One to three years experience in a manufacturing or production setting

HOURS OF WORK
• Monday through Thursday 6:00am – 4:30pm


WELDER

Salary range: $19-24/hr

Collaborating with the team and Supervisor, this position is responsible for:
• Setting up fixtures and welds to standards
• Read from blueprints and follow exact specifications
• Create high quality welds on items subject to heavy stress and high pressure

JOB DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS
• Successfully and safely operate welding machine and wear protective equipment
• Read blueprints and diagrams accurately
• Organizational skills, ability to work independently, and prioritize tasks
• Candidate will be able to stand for long periods of time
• Position may require test welding

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Welding experience preferred
• Wire feed welding experience
• 1-2 years experience in a manufacturing or production setting

HOURS OF WORK
Monday through Thursday 6:00am – 4:30pm


Punch Press Machine Operator

Salary range: $19-24/hr

Under the supervision of the Factory Supervisor, this position is responsible in supporting the Punch Press/Machine Department.  The Operator will:
• Utilize a variety of machines, including lasers, shears, CNC brake presses, and turret presses to produce parts according to WINCO standards in quality.
• Interpret drawings, job routings, and tooling instructions
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program
• Set up jobs/presses with little supervision
• Utilize mathematical skills daily and apply them to blueprints, templets, and other precision tools

JOB DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS
• Successfully and safely operate lasers, CNC mill, CNC lather, shear, and turret punch press
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
• Must be able to read blueprints accurately
• Must be able to read gauges and other precision tools
• Will train the right candidate

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Knowledge or experience in CNC machinery is preferred
• Knowledge of electrical components and currants
• Knowledge or experience with manual presses and turret presses

Monday through Thursday 6:00am – 4:30pm
