Name: Aaron Libra
Position: Accounts Receivable
Hobbies: Camping

Q: How long have you worked at WINCO?
A: I worked at WINCO from 2014 to 2016. I returned back in 2019.

Q: Can you tell me a little about your family?
A: I have a wife, Lynnea and twin sons, Hunter and Aidan.

Q: I see in your office, you have many bib numbers and medals. What are those all for?
A: In 2010 I got into a health kick. After a while, I got sick of just doing 5Ks, so I started doing various mud runs.

Q: What is a mud run?
A: They are normally 5K runs that incorporate obstacle courses in mud. The tough Mudder can be 12 miles.

Q: I hear your sons are involved in the Boy Scouts. Were you a Boy Scout too and do you still participate?
A: I was in Boy Scouts and am an Eagle Scout. I have my certificate hanging in my office. I also am an Assistant Scout Master for my boys’ troop.

Get to know WINCO

WINCO is a family-owned business with about 70 employees. We thought it would be great to meet them!

Name: Brian Widmer
Position: Punch press and laser cutter operator
Hobbies: Hunting, fishing, and collecting cars

Q: How long have you worked at WINCO?
A: It will be 10 years in August.

Q: You collect cars, how many do you have?
A: I have 3, a ’37 Chevy Sedan, ’68 Chevy Camaro, and a ’30 Model A Coupe.

Q: Do you have a favorite?
A: Definitely the Camaro.

Q: How long have you been interested in cars?
A: Ever since I was little. My dad was into body work. I got my first car in 2002.

Q: Do you go to any car shows?
A: The town of Henderson has a Classic Car Roll-In every Tuesday starting in May. Unfortunately, this year it has been postponed.

Welcome back Tyler to the WINCO Sales team!

Q: First, can you tell us a little about yourself?
A: I have been married to my wife, Cortnee, for 9 years and we have a 3 year old golden retriever named Louie.

Q: Do you have any summer plans?
A: Finish upgrading my motorcycle and putting more miles on it this year. Also, add to my garden.

Q: I hear you go on an annual trip to Colorado, what is that about?
A: A couple of buddies and I trailer our motorcycles down to Colorado and ride in the mountains.

Q: Will you be taking the trip this year?
A: We are planning to in August.

Q: How is the journey back to WINCO?
A: It is good. A little different from when I left but getting back into the groove. Understanding the new products and relearning the old stuff. Trying to connect to customers that I dealt with for 4 years and also talking with new ones that I haven’t spoken to before.

Q: Has much changed?
A: Products that are offered. A lot has changed, from engines that are being used to the PTO line.

Get to Know WINCO

Name: Shane Williams
Position: Chief Operations Officer
Years at WINCO: Seven
Hobbies: Fishing, snowmobiling, water sports, four wheeling, riding his motorcycle

On February 15th, Shane participated in the Snowmobile Fun Run. This was an all day event covering hundreds of miles.

Q: What is the Snowmobile Fun Run?
A: Every year the Nicollet County Trail Association Snowmobile Club has a Snowmobile Fun Run to raise money to go towards their scholarship fund. They have silent auctions, drawings and snowmobiling.

Q: Have you participated in this before?
A: This was my second year. We had a great amount of snow.

Q: How many miles did you go?
A: We drove 175 miles through 3 counties. The Fun Run has multiple destinations that each rider tries to get to.

Q: I heard you won a couple of awards, what were they?
A: I rode along with a buddy of mine and we received first place for making the most stops. Each stop we went to, got our name put into a drawing, I won a cash prize from that drawing.
